Will Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 7 Start On Utapau?

Star Wars The Clone Wars

We know when Star Wars: The Clone Wars returns next month for it's seventh and final season, there are three likely story arcs we can expect to see. While others from "The Clone Wars Legacy" made it to the publishing side of Lucasfilm, "The Siege of Mandalore", "The Bad Batch", and "Crystal Crisis on Utapau" were the arcs that never got finished before the series was cancelled. Now, it looks like we know which of these three arcs will kick things off starting Monday, February 17th on Disney+!

According to IMDB, here's the synopsis for episode #7.1...

"Obi-Wan and Anakin investigate a mysterious death of a Jedi Master on Utapau, and uncover a secret Separatist weapons deal the likes of which they have never seen before."

So, that synopsis is the same one that can be found on Wookieepedia and elsewhere, so take this all with a grain of salt, but it's looking pretty likely.

Along with "The Bad Batch" , the "Crystal Crisis on Utapau" arc was released a few years ago online in an unfinished story reel format, and then later by itself on the Blu-ray release of Star Wars: The Clone Wars – The Lost Missions. So, if you've seen those, then you pretty much know what to expect from this opener and the following three episodes.

The four episodes are "A Death on Utapau", "In Search of the Crystal", "Crystal Crisis", and "The Big Bang", and with a twelve-episode season and "The Bad Batch" being a four-episode arc as well, I guess that leaves "The Siege of Mandalore" with the remaining four episodes.

No word on the rest of the order yet, but if you trust IMDB, then at least we know what the first third of the season will focus on!

Till next time...MTFBWY.
