The Official Star Wars Site confirmed the not-very-surprising news today: Star Wars film-making is returning to the United Kingdom, with production on Episode VII set to follow in the footsteps of its six Brit-friendly predecessors.

"We're progressing on a schedule to hopefully begin next year, or the beginning of next year," said Bad Robot Productions' Bryan Burk, "and the location is still kind of floating around in the air all depending on script and a whole bunch of other issues."

There was no announcement at Disney World on the evening of May the Fourth, but attendees at a special screening of Return of the Jedi at Entertainment Weekly’s CapeTown Film Festival did get the chance to see a surprise guest last night: Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill!
