Before she'd become an intergalactic icon, Carrie Fisher was mostly famous for being the daughter of Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher. As hard as it is to believe now, Carrie wondered if appearing in a strange new sci-fi adventure titled Star Wars would do irreparable damage to her promising young career as an actress.
In his new memoir My Girls, Todd Fisher writes at length and in great detail about several fascinating moments in the life of his mother Debbie Reynolds and his older sister Carrie Fisher. Among the most notable passages is when he describes attending the first screening of Star Wars with Carrie. Yahoo Entertainment chatted with Todd about the time he and his sister first saw the world's most famous sci-fi franchise make its debut.
