UPDATE: So many have written in asking about the other cities. We have reached out to Lucasfilm regarding the news and they mentioned the dates, and other locations will be announced soon!
We also heard back from the author of the article at WLWT who mentioned this major part that was left out of the story.
"Also, she clarified in an email this morning that the OUTSIDE will not look like the ship, just the inside – in case that wasn’t clear!"
Just saw this in my local news feed. I'm going to attend to see if I can find out what other cities it will be visiting. From WLWT:
HIGHLAND HEIGHTS, Ky. — You don't have to travel to a galaxy far, far away to experience the force. This weekend, an iconic part of "Star Wars" is flying (OK, not really) into Northern Kentucky.
A Millennium Falcon replica will be parked at BB&T Arena at Northern Kentucky University for three days. It's the first stop of a five-city tour promoting "Solo: A Star Wars Story."
Visitors will be able to experience the ship's interior as it will look in the new movie, "from the iconic holochess game table to the dazzling control panels lining the cockpit."
The newest movie in the "Star Wars" saga tells the story of Hans Solo's "hidden past." It is directed by Ron Howard and stars Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, alongside Woody Harrelson, Emilia Clarke and Donald Glover. It comes out May 25.
The Millennium Falcon experience at NKU runs from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
Tickets are available on-site beginning at 11 a.m. on Friday and are totally free.
