Latino Review Has Episode VII Title Rumors For You

Posted by Eric on October 11, 2013 at 03:56 PM CST

Take a gander at this, from Latino Review:

I was exclusively told that during [the time when George Lucas was working on story treatments for the sequels], it seems that George had two working titles for Star Wars: Episode VII that were competing in his mind: Return of the Sith and Rise of the Jedi! These working titles were turned over to the Disney Company through the sale, BUT, there is no guarantee whatsoever that Disney will use these titles for the movie.
Try them out:

Star Wars Episode VII: Return of the Sith.

Star Wars Episode VII: Rise of the Jedi.

How do they sound? There's no way to know how seriously to take this rumor. It could be the case that Lucas imagined the sequels playing out in a way that reflected these names. Or it could be that he actually sent someone a memo or two with these working titles. Or this could be nothing more than a hover-truckload of baloney. We may never know.
