Has Michael B Jordan's Episode VII Audition Been Confirmed?
Posted by Mike on October 12, 2013 at 10:06 AM CST |
While rumors have circulated around Michael B Jordan being in consideration for Episode VII, it turns out the young actor from Chronicle and The Wire has apparently auditioned for the film. EW.com reports that Jordan confirmed as much in a recent interview from People Magazine’s “Ones To Watch” party. Here's a quote from Jordan in regards to the audition:

“I mean, everybody’s going in on this project. They’re trying to figure out what they want,” he said. “That’s another incredible franchise. It’s pretty crazy! … We’ll see how it happens. I don’t know how I can do everything.”

Michael B Jordan was in Red Tails so it makes perfect sense that he'd be on the Star Wars casting radar. Unlike Saoirse Ronan however, Jordan reportedly did not wield a lightsaber in in his audition. We wish the best of luck to Michael, Saoirse and anyone else who is lucky enough to be in consideration. As per usual, we'll keep you posted as we learn more.
