Rumor: Tom Cruise Cameo In Episode VII?

The UK's Sun newspaper, via Metro, is reporting that Tom Cruise met with J.J. Abrams about a cameo in Star Wars Episode VII.

The Sun claims that Abrams "loves working with Tom whenever he gets the chance," and that Cruise "has been in London for over a week and met up with JJ and some other people from Star Wars over the weekend."

The Sun also recently reported that Harrison Ford would be out for a shocking six months instead of two. How does that tie into a possible Cruise cameo? "Losing Harrison is going to set things back a little scheduling wise," they say, "and there’s some time to play around with."

Those of you who followed the production of the prequel trilogy remember the rumor of an ★NSYNC cameo, so take this one with an extra grain of salt.

UPDATE: A representative for Cruise tells Entertainment Tonight Canada that this rumor is "pure fiction."
