Tatooine-Bound: Episode VII Reportedly Revisiting The Skywalkers' Home Planet

If there's a bright center to the universe, the next Star Wars movie may revisit the planet that it's farthest from. The Hollywood Reporter has endorsed a rumor we first heard from Badass Digest: Episode VII is set to return to Tatooine.

"J.J. Abrams and Disney are planning an extensive re-creation of the desolate home of Luke and Anakin Skywalker in a Morocco-like environment," according to THR's story.

As we mentioned before, Tunisia was the real-world home of Tatooine in the first six films, but political unrest there in recent years has likely made it a less attractive destination for filmmakers.

Disney did not respond to THR's request for comment.
