Star Wars Insider Running Two-Part Short Story Set During Return Of The Jedi

Del Rey's Star Wars Books Facebook page has announced that David J. Williams and Mark S. Williams are writing a two-part short story for Star Wars Insider that will tell the tale of "an elite squad of rebel B-wing pilots on a suicide mission during the Battle of Endor." The story is called "Blade Squadron" and it will appear in Insider issues #149 and #150. Chris Trevas will provide accompanying artwork.

"The events of the tale were written as if they were deleted scenes from the original film," according to the Del Rey announcement, "and are rife with knuckle-whitening action and compelling new characters."

Williams and Williams previously wrote the short story "Maze Run" for Insider #131.
