TheWrap is reporting that Breaking Bad and Friday Night Lights star Jesse Plemons "is in contention for a lead role" in Star Wars Episode VII. Citing "multiple individuals with knowledge of the top-secret casting process," TheWrap's Jeff Sneider goes on to say that Plemons will meet with J.J. Abrams next week to talk about the movie.
"Plemons has already taped an audition that was well-received by those involved in the casting process," Sneider writes, "and he'll [be] flying in to Los Angeles from Austin, Texas for a second audition that will bring him face-to-face with Abrams."
Lucasfilm would not comment on TheWrap's report, but you can read the story here.
