New Han Solo Anthology Film & Directors Announced

Star Wars fans got a tasty bit of news today as StarWars.com revealed that Christopher Miller and Phil Lord (The LEGO Movie, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, 21 Jump Street and 22 Jump Street), will direct the next Star Wars spin-off movie which is a Han Solo Anthology film.

The news comes after director Josh Trank, who was scheduled to direct the movie, left the project in May.

Father and son duo Lawrence Kasdan and Jon Kasdan will write the anticipated screenplay with Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, Jason McGatlin, Will Allegra and Lawrence Kasdan producing.

The film will hit theaters on May 25, 2018.
