Good Morning America Star Wars Coverage

Posted by Dustin on April 10, 2015 at 05:20 PM CST

The following is from fan of TheForce.net Drew T.

Part I, 9-April-2015

GMA covers both SW VII and the digital HD release but does a poor job merging the two topics together. The topic is “Star Wars” secrets revealed! where they show behind the scenes footage from the digital HD release AND an interview with Doug Chiang where he states more than once that “I cannot tell you”. They talk about Kylo Ren’s (my reference not theirs) lightsaber and BB-8 (my reference not theirs). Michael Strahan interviews Ray Parks in Times Square where they do some lightsaber moves with children. Almost 5 minutes long. The link is here:

Go to the ~52 minute mark.

They also promoted this link which will be part of the digital HD release:

Part II, 10-April-2015

Here is the link:

Go to the ~ 45 minute mark. It is ~ 3 minutes in length.

Topic still is “Star Wars” secrets revealed! where they tie in bonus material from the digital HD release and show clips from the SW VII trailer.

The Doug Chiang interviews continues and the question is raised if original SW movie (sound) recordings will be used in Episode VII.

He said he wants to save the surprise and can talk about the previous 6. He does not want to ruin the surprise since it is like Christmas.

Reporters talk with R2 and C-3P0 characters in the studio.
