Caravan of Courage An Ewok Adventure

Petition To Get Ewok Movies On Disney Plus

Posted by Dustin on October 6, 2019 at 05:02 PM CST

When Disney+ launches November 12th, fans are no doubt going to be drawn in for The Mandalorian. The show only runs one hour per week with a grand total of eight episodes. So what else on Disney+ is there to check out that is Star Wars related.

Star Wars: Episode I: The Phantom Menace
Star Wars: Episode II: Attack of the Clones
Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith
Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope
Star Wars: Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back
Star Wars: Episode VI: Return of the Jedi
Star Wars: Episode VII: The Force Awakens
Star Wars: Episode VIII: The Last Jedi
Star Wars: Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker (coming later)
Rogue One: A Star Wars Story
Solo: A Star Wars Story (coming later)

Star Wars Rebels
The Clone Wars (season seven coming later)
The Mandalorian
The Adventures of Cassian Andor & K-2SO (coming later)
Obi-Wan: The Lonely Years (coming later)

As you can see above, we will basically have all theatrically released films available by this time next year if not sooner. Plus all the Star Wars Rebels and Clone Wars you can handle on top of the impressive looking The Mandalorian. What if you're all caught up on 90% of this content and are looking for something else? There has to be something else "Star Wars" to watch right? Yes, yes there is plenty and why Disney hasn't planned to somehow offer it up for fans is rather worrisome.

The next two big things to add would of course be the television movie classics The Ewok Adventure: Caravan of Courage (1984), and The Ewok Adventure: The Battle for Endor (1985). These television films are based in the Star Wars universe, and take place on the moon of Endor between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.

If you are a original trilogy child you might remember these airing on ABC. I remember them because I used my Dad's BETA VCR (google it kids) to record the shows, pushing pause as we went so that the second viewing would not be interrupted by commercials.

Recently one of the actors from these films reached out to us to let us know about this oversight. Eric Walker played Mace Towani and has taken the reigns on getting Disney's attention with a petition to add these Star Wars classics. If you feel strongly about them, the way many others do, or even if you are just wanted as much Star Wars content as possible on Disney+, then please take a moment to sign the petition right here.

Together we might be able to influence them, and who knows, this could lead to other content being added that is still missing from the list such as the animated Droids, and Ewoks cartoons, The Holiday Special, Too Many Documentaries to list, plus what about Fan Films or even Seth Green's Star Wars: Detours?
