Star Wars Celebration Anaheim: Day 3 Recap

The third day of Star Wars Celebration Anaheim was full of Mando-centric fun and new storytelling opportunities! Let’s recap what we have learned!

Tales of the Jedi



This anthology series from the mind of Dave Filoni will give us short stories about Jedi such as Qui Gon Jinn, Ahsoka, Dooku and more!




Liam Neeson will voice Qui-Gon Jinn and his son will voice young Qui-Gon Jinn! The first episode was screen for attendees of the convention and everyone seems excited about the chance to tell these new stories in the style of The Clone Wars!

The Mando-Verse Continues!



All eyes were on the celebration stage as Dave Filoni and John Favreau appeared to discuss the upcoming season three of The Mandalorian! Along side special guest appearances from the cast it was announced that Rick Famuyiwa will become an executive producer for the next season premiering this February on Disney+!

The team went on to talk about Ahsoka which is filming right now in Manhattan Beach, California a few minutes from the convention center. Rosario Dawson appeared to talk about how excited she is for this new streaming series and we were introduced to Natasha Liu Bordizzo who will play Sabine!
