First Look At Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Stories Of Light and Dark

Perhaps a little overshadowed by some of the Project Luminous hype, one of the big book announcements in New York last year at Comic-Con was "Star Wars: The Clone Wars Anthology". We were shown an unofficial cover and given an idea of what we could expect from the lineup of amazing authors involved such as an Asajj Ventress short from Zoraida Córdova (A Crash of Fate) and a middle-grade Darth Maul story from Rebecca Roanhorse (Resistance Reborn)!

Here's the synopsis from the publisher...

From Anakin to Yoda, Count Dooku to Darth Maul, this exciting middle grade anthology will recount different explosive events from The Clone Wars from the points of view everyone’s favorite characters–with each character written by a different popular author.

Well today, Star Wars dot com has finally revealed the final cover for the book as well as the authors involved!

StarWars.com is excited to reveal the cover of Star Wars: The Clone Wars – Stories of Light and Dark, a new anthology coming August 25. The collection features 11 stories by 11 authors — Lou Anders, Preeti Chhibber, Zoraida Córdova, Jason Fry, Rebecca Roanhorse, Greg Van Eekhout, Tom Angleberger, E. Anne Convery, Sarah Beth Durst, Yoon Ha Lee, and Anne Ursu — including 10 retellings of memorable episodes and arcs and one original Nightsisters-based story. In addition, Stories of Light and Dark will also feature beautiful watercolor renditions of Clone Wars characters by Ksenia Zelentsova. Check out Zelentsova’s clone-tastic cover below!
