TFN Rumor: Lars Mikkelsen Tapped To Play Live-Action Thrawn
A website called www.small-screen.co.uk is reporting that they have received confirmation of Lars Mikkelsen being selected to play the role of Thrawn in the upcoming live-action Star Wars: Ahsoka television series and possibly in other Star Wars spin-off series. This isn't exactly a surprise with Mikkelsen already voicing the same character in 17 episodes of Star Wars Rebels, but from the report, it sounds like Dave Filoni & Jon Favreau knew exactly who they wanted for the role and got him.
This information has not been confirmed by Lucasfilm Ltd. or Disney.
