Star Wars: Reclamation - An Animated Series?

Posted by Chris on April 13, 2013 at 10:45 AM CST

A post on the IMDb.com message boards was brought to our attention this morning regarding a possible new animated Star Wars series that was or is still in the works according to the person who relayed the info within the thread. This was in response to a topic started about Dave Filoni being involved in new Star Wars content which has been confirmed.

The poster says:

"might be talking about this. we'd been working on details of it since early last year but didn't know the details until a few months ago. got the greenlight in january but stopped everything when the layoffs hit.

i could probably get in trouble, but oh wait, i don't work there anymore

who knows if this is the same project though, everything was dicey

This comes after many, many recent layoffs at Lucasfilm Ltd. and Lucasarts. It's important to note that this could be anyone posting this information and there's zero proof that it's actually an ex Lucasfilm employee. An elaborate fan made dream perhaps or the next chapter in Star Wars? Only time will tell, but it's certainly fun to speculate!

Thanks to Alexander G. for the tip!
