CEII: The Clone Wars S5, Complete Series Sets Announced
At the "Secrets of Star Wars: The Clone Wars" panel at Celebration Europe II, supervising director Dave Filoni revealed that the complete series box set for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, as well as the Season Five set, will be released simultaneously on October 15th. The Season 5 set, which will include 18 regular episodes and two director's cut episodes, is $59.97 for Blu-ray and $49.98 for DVD. The complete series set is $149.99 for Blu-ray and $119.98 for DVD.
Neither set will be a venue for the Season 6 bonus content that has been discussed, promised, and described on several occasions. At the TCW panel, Pablo Hidalgo said that Lucasfilm was still working on a distribution format for the bonus content and that it might include unfinished animation.

All previous complete season sets have been collected here for the first time. With unique packaging, the Collector's Edition also includes a brand new 54-page Art of The Clone Wars booklet that showcases concept art from across all five seasons, with many pieces never before published.
