Simon Kinberg: Star Wars Rebels Season Will Be 16 Episodes

Star Wars Rebels executive producer Simon Kinberg talked to collider during an X-Men: Days of Future Past press tour and revealed a few details about the Disney XD series (via Rebels Report).

Each season of Rebels will be 16 episodes, Kinberg said. He wrote both the season premiere, which will last an hour and air on the Disney Channel, and the season finale, which is currently in production.

When asked about writing dialog for Lando Calrissian, who might be in Rebels, Kinberg responded, "Writing dialogue for any of the legacy characters is as big a thrill as anything I’ve ever had in my life."
