Posted by Eric on May 6, 2013 at 01:41 PM CST

Collider's Steven Weintraub recently spoke to Bad Robot Productions' Bryan Burk, who will be co-producing Star Wars Episode VII through Bad Robot, J.J. Abrams' film company. Burk told Weintraub that filming for Episode VII is expected to begin in 2014. "We're progressing on a schedule to hopefully begin next year, or the beginning of next year," Burk said, "and the location is still kind of floating around in the air all depending on script and a whole bunch of other issues." Head over to Collider for the full story.

Get ready for a lot of sightings of Episode VII principals gathered together for pre-production meetings. In their report on this news, Club Jade pointed to a tweet from Fandango's Dave Karger that put Abrams and Episode VII screenwriter Michael Arndt at a hotel in London yesterday.
