Yesterday, Disney and EA announced a long-term exclusive partnership for Star Wars games. Today, on an earnings call for Electronic Arts shareholders, EA executive chairman Larry Probst told investors that the company will not release a Star Wars game during the current fiscal year. Instead, according to Polygon, EA "will factor in expenses related to developing new Star Wars games in its fiscal year 2014, which started April 1."

Fiscal Year 2014 ends on March 31, 2014, which means we won't be seeing an EA-made Star Wars game until April 2014 at the earliest.
