Catching Up With Star Wars: The Old Republic
Posted by Mike on November 10, 2013 at 11:08 AM CST |
This is one of the lighter TOR catch-up posts. That being said, there are still three new updates over at SWTOR.com which are worth noting.

First up, you can now purchase Cartel Coins from inside the game itself. From the announcement:

"Starting today, you can purchase Cartel Coins from inside the game!

No need to log out. Now you can purchase Cartel Coins directly from the Cartel Market.

To celebrate this launch, Subscribers save 50% on their first in-game purchase of Cartel Coins through November 30th! Now is the time to check out all of our latest additions to the Cartel Market, like the newly added Treek Ewok Companion and other great items like the new Varactyl Mount!"

Next up, here's the intro from the recent SWTOR.com blog post announcing the inaugural PVP season.

"Greetings PvPers! Im happy to say that a long awaited and promised time is finally upon us! With the launch of Game Update 2.4.3, the longest pre-season will be over and the inaugural Ranked PvP season will begin. We know it has been a long haul and I want to personally thank everyone who has stuck with us. What does actually starting a season really mean though? To answer that question, I want to lay out the roadmap for Season One, and talk a bit about how the first season will work and what to expect."

Yes, I cannot wait to add these to my collection!
No, I cannot and will not buy the same content in new packaging!
