Insight Editions Is Coming To Star Wars Celebration 2019

Star Wars Celebration is nearly upon us, and the folks at Insight Editions are gearing up to deliver a very busy weekend full of amazing signings, workshops, exciting giveaways, and legendary guests!

This year, they are bringing with them no only two brand-new imprints but IncrediBuilds as well! Insight Editions will be located in the Exhibit Hall (Booth #3220) while IncrediBuilds, and their line of wood models, will be sponsoring the Star Wars Celebration “Family Area”!

To kick things off, their newest Star Wars title will be announced at the Lucasfilm Publishing panel on Friday at 4:45PM on the Twins Suns Stage (W196). They’re leaving all the details about this one under wraps until the panel so be sure to check it

Up first for Star Wars Celebration is the amazing paper engineer, Matthew Reinhart! He will be hosting the "Designing the Greatest Star Wars Popup Book in The Galaxy" panel on Sunday at 11:00 AM on the Star Wars University Stage (W149)…

Matthew Reinhart, master paper engineer, joins book publisher Insight Editions on the Star Wars Celebration stage to reveal their newest Star Wars project. This new title will bring together the most iconic events from all of the Star Wars films and pack them into one epic pop-up event you won't want to miss! Get an exclusive peak only at StarWars Celebration!

Afterwards, head over to the Insight Editions booth (#3220) where Matthew will be signing free promotional posters for the new title! And although they aren’t ready to release the book cover just yet, I’m told it’s spectacular!



Also attending Star Wars Celebration as a guest of Insight Editions, is writer and journalist Gina McIntyre, author of the amazing “Star Wars Icons: Han Solo” Attendees will be able to purchase a signed copy of this wonderful book and meet Gina on Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 PM in the Author Zone.

Finally, legendary and award winning model builder Lorne Peterson will also be joining Celebration for signings, photographs as well as hosting a special model workshop!



The model workshop, hosted by Lorne, will take place in the Star Wars Celebration “Family Area” on Saturday April 13th at 5:00 PM. The event is limited to 45 seats and 15 tickets will be released each day on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and be given out to the first 15 people to purchase an IncrediBuild at the Insight Editions booth each day! Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity to attend a workshop with one of the founding members of Industrial Light & Magic!

Lorne will also be signing copies of Sculpting a Galaxy, the trade and limited editions. To attend the signings, you must purchase a copy of the book (either trade or limited edition), but once there, he will be happy to sign anything that people bring.
