Women of the Galaxy

To celebrate the release of Amy Ratcliffe’s wonderful new book, “Star Wars: Women of the Galaxy”, which hits shelves October 30th, we’ve teamed up with Chronicle Books for this amazing contest!

Courtesy of Chronicle Books we’ve got two Princess Leia prints, by artist Jen Bartel, and two copies of Amy’s amazing new book, “Star Wars: Women of the Galaxy” to hand out! They will be given away as a set, so don’t miss out on this great opportunity to own both! Up until now, this print was only made available at New York Comic Con so here’s your chance to be one of the first to get your hands on this beautiful piece of art!

To enter, all you have to do is send us a picture of you with a strong and positive female influence in your life and tell us why or how she’s made your life better, it's that simple! It could be a friend, family member, co-worker, teacher, it doesn’t matter! We want to hear about how this person has helped you be the best person you can be!

We’ll choose two of the best stories who will each receive a print and copy of the book! To enter, send the picture along with a brief description to contest@theforce.net, and don't forget to include your mailing address should you win!

From the publisher…

They are heroes and villains, Sith and Jedi, senators and scoundrels, mothers, mercenaries, artists, pilots…

The women of the Star Wars galaxy drive its stories and saga forward at every level. This beautifully illustrated, fully authorized book profiles 75 fascinating female characters from across films, fiction, comics, animation, and games. Featuring Leia Organa, Rey, Ahsoka Tano, Iden Versio, Jyn Erso, Rose Tico, Maz Kanata, and many more, each character is explored through key story beats, fresh insights, and behind-the-scenes details by author Amy Ratcliffe. Also showcasing more than 100 all-new illustrations by a dynamic range of female and non-binary artists, here is an inspiring celebration of the characters that help create a galaxy far, far away.

The book includes characters from Solo: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars Resistance and some characters never visualized before!

The artists who contributed to the book are: Alice X. Zhang, Amy Beth Christenson, Annie Stoll, Annie Wu, Christina Chung, Cryssy Cheung, Eli Baumgartner, Elsa Charretier, Geneva Bowers, Jennifer Aberin Johnson, Jen Bartel, Jenny Parks, Karen Hallion, Little Corvus, Sara Alfageeh, Sara Kipin, Sarah Wilkinson and Viv Tanner!
