Paul S. Kemp's return to the Star Wars universe promises a Sith-themed storyline reminiscent of recent successes like Darth Plagueis. What it actually delivers isn't quite so memorable or enjoyable to read.

Following on from last year's Star Wars in 100 Scenes, a review for which you can read here, DK have taken it to the next level with their LEGO Star Wars in 100 Scenes, which does pretty much what it says on the cover when it states "Six movies... a lot of LEGO bricks".

Mattias Rendahl 's new book covers Kenner packaging design in the years 1977-79. The book tackles basically everything related to 2D pre-production, from concept to printed proof. It's the first book in a series of four, and looks fantastic from the sneak peek images shown above. Ron Salvatore ( Not the one who killed Chewbacca ) has a new interview up with Mattias over at The Star Wars Collectors Archive blog that you should read right here. On a recent visit to NYC, George Lucas stopped into Midtown Comics for a quick look, and to pick up copies of Marvels new Star Wars, Darth Vader, and Princess Leia series. Looks like George is missing the WARS, or he might be curious to see which direction his 40 year old creation is taking with Disney at the helm now. Still, pretty cool day at the comic shop when George Lucas stops by!
