YouTube Member Hired By ILM For Deepfake Work On The Mandalorian
According to an article over at Indie Wire, the popular YouTube member named Shamook has been hired by Industrial Light & Magic to be the Senior Facial Capture Artist after posting an example of his work just days after the Star Wars: The Mandalorian Season 2 finale aired on Disney+ with Luke Skywalker making his triumphant return. He posted a much-improved looking Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker and it sounds like the move landed him a dream job. It's always nice when someone gets recognized for their passion & skill.
