Taika Waititi Star Wars Film On Indefinite Hold

---

In a recent interview with Inverse.com, Taika Waititi has confirmed that his previously announced Star Wars film has been placed on hold indefinitely.

“I hate to break this to you, but we're going to actually put it on ice and we're working on a different thing together,” Waititi tells Inverse."

“I don't even know how to dress it up or make it even vague. It's very iced. I've got about four other movies I'm trying to do."

It's been six years since Waititi was first mentioned as being tied to a Star Wars film, so we'll keep our fingers crossed that something eventually does get produced as it sounded like he had some great ideas up his sleeve for the franchise.
