Background: the very existence of Vangrovius is known to a few entities in the Galaxy, and even those who know something about him can only claim to know very little about him. Legend and truth mix when speaking of this dreaded abomination who has stalked the darkest corners of the Galaxy for centuries. It is said that he walked away either from the Jedi path and the Sith path, building himself a solitary life of manipulation and deceit, in a mad pursue of knowledge and study of every kind. It is said that he is a Master of the Dark Side, also skilled in medicine and genetics, studying the patterns of the Force and of life and ominously manipulating events and battles from afar in pursuit of his own dark purposes. It is also said that he is a personal enemy of the Emperor, and that they share a dark and forbidden past of rivalry and deceit.
