The internet is buzzing with rumors of potentially new downloadable content around the corner for The Force Unleashed. The rumors were spawned after people noticed that there are 5 new achievements (totalling 125 gamer points) that popped up for the Xbox 360. The new additions bring the total TFU gamer points up to 1345. See below for a couple of links that will spill the beans as to the objectives of the new achievements. We won't post them here as they could be considered SPOILERS until an official announcement is made...maybe at Comic-Con. We're guessing that the Star Wars Spectacular would be a nice venue to roll out some new and updated Star Wars stuff, right?

Remember, since nothing official has been announced, all of this is considered rumorific....but hopefully not for long!

UPDATE: Shacknews is reporting that a new downloadable level for The Force Unleashed(PS3 & 360) will be on Tatooine in a scenario where the Secret Apprentice has killed Vader and has taken his place at the Emperor's side. Jabba's Palace, Boba Fett and more familiar faces and places are said to be included.

On a similar note, a TFU special edition is to be released during the Holidays which will also feature a Hoth level were the SA attempts to wipe out the Rebellion.

All 3 sources say that this news is from LucasArts, though I have personally been unable to find the press release. Is this something let out of the bag just before being announced at Comic Con? Time will tell...hopefully shortly!
