SPY REPORT: Let It All Hang Out

Posted By Joshua on January 11, 2001

Inside sources reveal details about a character that was originally found in the Lucasfilm domain name game a few months back. It's quite detailed, so we're going to cover it up to hide if from those who want to remain out of the loop. If not, you're going to love this:

SPOILERS! Highlight to read:

We found one of the character's name was Dexter Jettster, and there was also a diner attached to his name in Episode II. Dexter's Diner it is called among the locals. I (Josh) don't believe its the same as the Corusant nightclub we've been hearing so much about. How does he fit into the plotline for the prequel? We'll worry about later, for now lets describe this fella.

What if we told you this guy had multiple arms? A smoking problem? Biceps to kill for? Wears an apron? Would you believe it?

Up today, a detailed description of the man behind the bar. He'll probably be the equivalent of Watto of Episode II it would appear, and I would assume lots of CGI to make this man happen so keep in mind the final look may be slightly different. Also remember the charcters go through a huge wave of evolution before we actually see them on screen.

Dexter is a large reptilian creature with four arms. He has a ridge running along the top of his head towards his back and his nose is almost non-existant. His traditional attire includes a spattered on T-shirt, pants and a small apron. Being a larger alien creature of probably 300+ pounds, his shirt doesn't quite fit right and is exposed to reveal his large belly.

The three fingered hands look perfect to grill burgers in the greasy-spoon of his planet. He also wears sandals that reveal he has three toes as well. He's a tough guy and you had better not be messing with this fellow, his four arms are stacked!

And yes, it appears he has a bad habit of smoking as well.

Excellent report ... as always we love this kind of detail in advance. So will this guy be CGI, or was he another Neimoudian-like practical mask on set? Inquiring minds want to know!
