SPY REPORT: Episode II Wave 1

Posted By Joshua on March 6, 2001

Howard the Duck also sent along a most impressive list of what looks to be Wave 1 of the upcoming Episode II figures. This list of characters also hints at or confirms multiple spoilers we've talked about for a while on the Episode II page.

Without furter ado, here's the list of what we believe will be the first wave of figures for Episode II:

SPOILERS! Highlight to read - but beware of knowing too much!

Super Battledroid
Droid (Arena)
Boba Fett (Kamino)
Taun We
Tusken Raider (Female)
Obi-Wan (Coruscant)
Padme (Arena)
Padme (White)
Shaak-Ti (Sneak Preview)
Jar Jar (Senator)
Captain Typho (Pilot)
Anakin (Freighter)
Geonosian Warrior
C3PO Tatooine
Jango Fett (Kamino)
Kit Fisto
Wat Tamber
Zam Wessell
Jango Fett
Droid
Super Trooper
Dexter Jettster
Battle Droid (Blue)
Plo Koon (New)

Now we've got to point out a few things. First off, the Tusken Raider family will make an appearance in Episode II, and it is interesting to see the female character included in the initial offering. Other characters with interesting descriptions are of course the Jar Jar Senator and a new version of Plo Koon. Others are certainly expected like C-3PO and Obi-Wan, but there are notable exceptions as well, including Darth Tyranus and Count Dooku.

Again, this is the first of probably many waves of figures and keep in mind this is the plan according to our sources, and things have been known to change as necessary.

Either way, this is a very intriguing list and we want to encourage you to send in your observations about this list and what you think it means or confirms.
