There have been a lot of casting calls going out lately for African-American appearing men and women, especially women. A mass extras list as well as several bit parts are on the sheet. The only other info with that is that they're also looking for a female around 18 - 20 with slightly exotic darker skin, and an athletic build.

This could lead to some interesting and fun speculation... Hmmm... African-Americans, particularly women? Adi Gallia? She had a larger part in the Episode I backstory as portrayed in the novel and the Who's Who Guide to Episode I, so perhaps we are going to see some of that explored in Episode II? Hmmmm....
