Ternian has been working out all of the political factions that form the foundation for the intrigue that involves the characters and situations of Episode II. In part one he summarized the first half of the movie, and here in part two you get the rest.

(highlight below to read) The Commerce Guild is a political Commerce movement in the Galactic Senate and is represented at the table by Shu Mai. Shu Mai is working with Senator Toonbuck Toora and Senator Tikkes to help bring them wealth beyond their means when the Confederacy is established.

Joining these factions are a group of Opposition Senators including Senator Po Nudo of Ando, Senator Wat Tambor, Senator Toonbuck Toora and Senator Tikkes. These Senator's votes in the Galactic Senate will help break the Republic apart.

On Coruscant, a small group of Senators form the Loyalist Committee. This group tries to maintain the ideals of the Republic. Senator Jar Jar Binks of Naboo, Viceroy Bail Organa of Alderaan, Senator Orn Free Taa of Ryloth and Senator Horox Ryyder are its members. This group is asked to decide upon the mobilisation of the Kaminoan army by Supreme Chancellor Palpatine for the crisis unfolding on Geonosis.

Although some Senators have followed the money rather then the care of the galaxy, Senator Ask Aak of Malastare, Senator Darsana of Glee Anslem, Senator Lexi Dio of Uyter and Senator Zo Howler, voice their concerns in the Senate over the latest string of events.

The Republic is slowly diminishing...
