SPY REPORT: All About Clones

Posted By Joshua on April 9, 2002

Want to know details about the Clones? Since it is the subject of the entire movie, you probably want to read this. You've been warned for spoilers!

Sifo-Dyas ordered all of the Clones for the Jedi. An agent named Tyranus hand-picked a man named Jango Fett to be the master clone. And due to the legendary Kaminoan efficiency and perfection, a vast and powerful army now awaits its orders.

The clone birth pods hang high from the ceilings on Kamino, only having to live for ten years to reach full battle-ready maturity. There are roughly seven aberrant clones for every two hundred produced, stunning standards again attributed to the Kaminoan perfection.

The clones armor was designed by another alien race, and this first version is thought to be excellent but there are room for improvements. Especially when seated or piloting a vehicle, the armor does not lend itself well to that situation. It is not camoflauged because they have no fear, and no need to hide.

The armor itself is nearly impossible to defeat. It is virtually invincible from outside forces, derived from the deadly Mandalorian flightsuit.

The clones ride inside a wide variety of vehicles, including the Republic Gunship, and one variation of the gunship that can carry an AT-TE in its underbelly. The SPHA-T is another clone vehicle, with a command center, walking legs and a center space for a troop hold.

The Clones use the DC-15 rifle and the DC-15 Blaster.
