Sneak Peek at AOTC Movie Storybook Posted By Scott on April 15, 2002
Thanks to Barnes&Noble.Com, the Attack of the Clones Movie Storybook arrived today. Adapted by Jane Mason and Sarah Hines-Stephens, it is the adaptation of the movie geared towards kids and jam packed with pictures. If you've read the graphic novel or the bootleg script online, there aren't many suprises in here for you. This book also has Padme's family removed as other versions do. It also confirms that Obi-Wan's Jedi starfighter is a Delta-7 ship.
However, the real highlights are the pictures. There are dozens of beautiful stills in this 48 page book. Highlighted are some of the more interesting pictures listed below. Some of them are spoilers, so highlight to read:
Picture 1 - The Death of Corde Picture 2 - Zam Wesell's Escape Picture 3 - Jango Fett kills Zam and escapes Picture 4 - Obi-Wan arrives at Kamino Picture 5 - Anakin's nightmare Picture 6 - Obi-Wan dragged by Jango Fett Picture 7 - Anakin returns with Shmi Picture 8 - Droid foundry Picture 9 - Mace Windu negotiates with Jango and Dooku Picture 10 - Anakin and Obi-Wan down for the Count (get it?!) And yes, we know Anakin's arm is cut off.
This is only a small taste of the awesome pictures in this book. The Attack of the Clones Movie Storybook is published by Random House and officially hits shelves on April 23rd.
