Here are some more interesting pieces of information from the AOTC Visual Dictionary:

Geonosians live in underground hives in a caste-segregated society. Castes include service, labor, soldier, farmer, drone maker, and overseer. Drones are put into a deep sleep when not needed.

Geonosian picadors ride orrays in the arena. The head kind of looks like a reworked spinosaurus from Jurassic Park 3.

Geonosian soldiers use sonic blasters.

Owen Lars' mother was Aika, Cliegg's first wife. They lived on the Core World of Ator. Beru's family have been moisture farmers for 3 generations.

"Death-sticks" are made from a Cilona extract.

Lieutenant Faytonni is not in the military. He wears a stolen uniform.

Super Battledroids use "acertron armor".

Captain Typho lost his eye in the line of duty.

Blue Guards still oversee the Senate while the red guards are personal for Palpatine. He keeps their training secret. "The Supreme chancellor has placed the new Red Gurad under his direct authority, while a Senatorial committee oversees the old Blue Guard. Palpatine calls this an efficient streamlining of cumbersome bureaucracy. Objectors have called it an illegal personal bodyguard, but such talk runs the risk of violating Palpatine's new security laws."

Sly Moore comes from Umbara in the Ghost Nebula.

Palpatine's term was over before Episode II, but he has stayed in office to to several crises.

A duracrete slug from Coruscant is shown.

Jar Jar Binks is "Associate Planetary Representative".

Passel Argente is head of the Corporate Alliance. He is also chairman of a merchandising conglomerate called Lethe.

There's a new vehicle that is a wheeled "Corporate Allience Tank Droid". The large legged droid is the Commerce Guild "homing spider droid". The smaller one shown in the trailer is the "dwarf spider droid". The other wheeled droid seen in the trailer is the Banking Clan "Hailfire droid".

The large ball ship on the planet is the Trade Federation Core Ship which detaches from the larger freighter and lands on the ground.

The Intergalactic Banking Clan is headquartered on Muunilinst.

A new character is Danaria Kee, an aide to Passel Argente.

The frieghter Anakin and Padme ride to Naboo is the Jendirian Valley. The C00-series cook droid is seen on the freighter.

Tusken Raiders are said to spit streams of blood on their victims during attacks. The children are called Uli-ah. Families live in Urtya tents.

Watto's hat is a pit droid head plate.

Rickshaw droids are called unipod droids.

Acklay's come from the planet Vendaxa. Nexu come from Cholganna. Reek's come from the Codian Moon. Beast battles in the arena are called "venations".

Coruscant wildlife include the stone mite and conduit worm.

Dexter Jettster is a four armed Besalisk. His droid waitress is named WA-7.

Installer droids and cleaner droids are also seen.
