A source close to Anthony Daniels has informed me that he is dieting. The source was unable to tell me why, but told me that you can guess why. This indicated that Anthony will be back inside the costume. Anthony needs to be at a certain weight by June, or else there could be a problem as I was informed.

Our source says that Daniels is dieting. We don't know why, but we're told we should be able to guess why.

Our speculation takes this to mean that Threepio will be complete enough in Episode 2 for someone to be inside a suit rather than Threepio being a puppet/CG character like in TPM. If this report is legitimate then this is very important news, because it means that Daniels might be doing much more than just lend his voice to an animated puppet. He would be in full droid gear again, with all the little nuances and twitches he brought to Threepio before!
