Some noteworthy highlights about the Clone Wars cartoon series from Star Wars Insider #69:

Expect appearances by Luminara Unduli, Padawan Bariss Offee, Shaak Ti, Even Piell, Sasee Tiin, and more.

The central story of the Clone Wars cartoon is Obi-Wan and Anakin leading an attack on Muunilinst. Side adventures will star Yoda, Padme, and Mace Windu. Lucasfilm designated the villains Asajj Ventress and Durge. Durge will be an alien with amazing recuperative powers. Dooku and Sidious will also be shown.

Kit Fisto will make a guest appearance leading forces on Mon Calamari. In another episode Luminara Unduli and Padawan Bariss Offee will have an adventure. The following episode will have them joined by Yoda.

C-3PO and R2-D2 weren't originally planned to have roles, but they will be snuck into a side adventure with Padme.

There is emphasis on portraying General Obi-Wan Kenobi as a knight, and there is a joust sequence on speeder bikes.
