Clone Wars Cartoon Episodes 11 - 15 Overview

Posted By Philip on February 9, 2004

After the initial, action packed wave of the first 10 episodes of the Clone Wars cartoons, it seems that the question on everyone minds is "what happens next"!? If you just can't wait until March to see them unfold first hand then read on! If you'd like to remain as spoiler free as possible, I suggest you stop reading now and be content in the fact that the next five episodes are just as good, if not better than the first 10.

Toon spoilers below, be advised.

Clone Wars Cartoons Episodes 11 - 15
The Epic Micro-Series

Chapter 11:
This episode picks up right where Episode 10 left off; with Anakin in the midst of a space battle with Asajj Ventress. Their fierce battle veers toward the planet?s surface where they do several fly-bys over Obi-Wan and his crew of ARC Troopers. Both Anakin and Obi-Wan recognize that this is "no droid pilot" and that whoever it is, the Force is strong with them. After a couple familiar phrases, Anakin decides to ignore Obi-Wan's request to halt the pursuit and follows Ventress off through Hyperspace.

Chapter 12:
Dantooine. Mace Windu. Crazy huge droid ships that pound the enemy into ruin. Need I say more? Yeah, of course I do. This episode could well be one of my favorites as it pits Master Mace and his squad of Clonetroopers in a battle against Super Destroyer Droids on the planet Dantooine. All seems to be going the way of our heroes until a huge shadow looms overhead. The shadow? The Seismic Tank; a monster ship that hovers over the enemy and pounds them with a huge pounding device. Needless to say, it doesn't bode well for Master Mace.

Chapter 13:
The thirteenth installment of the micro-series picks up right where 12 left off. Mace is doing his best against the Seismic Tank and the merciless Super Destroyer Droids. Some very cool Jedi action in both this and the previous episode culminates with Mace taking down the hovering menace and enjoying a brief respite with a local lad who sports a familiar looking floppy hat.

Chapter 14:
Luminara Unduli and Barriss Offee are chillin', completin' some Jedi training and buildin' some lightsabers in an ice cave which doubles as a Jedi Temple on the planet Ilum. Once Offee has her saber complete, both of these Jedi ladies sense a disturbance in the Force which turns out to be a gaggle of cloaking equipped, Probe Droid-esque assassin droids bent on tearing down the temple and whoever may be inside. The Jedi warrioresses put up a fierce resistance but alas, the Droids are too many. Unduli and Offee find themselves buried beneath a heaping pile of slag. Just when you think all would be over, we see Master Yoda on a Naboo cruiser waking from a deep mediation..."To Ilum we must go".

Chapter 15:
After using some tricky old mind tricks on Captain Typho, Yoda "convinces" Senator Amidala that they must take a slight detour to Ilum to see what exactly is transpiring. Upon arrival, Yoda disembarks the ship in search of what it was that stirred his Jedi slumber. It doesn't take him long to be discovered by the invisible droids but ol' Yoda is a wily one and, despite their cloaking abilities, he's on to them from the get go. Yoda quickly dispenses with the would-be assassins and upon entering the temple, finds a large pile of rocks which we all know have buried two of his promising disciples.
