Just got this in from a TFN reader that caught after watching the UK TV show "This Morning" with Anthony Daniels a while back. He mentioned a couple of things that inspired him to write us again after reading a recent spy report:

He also mentioned that he'd had a picture taken of himself and George Lucas standing in front of the domed building on the Chott el-Jerid set - WITH A PAIR OF TUSKEN RAIDERS EITHER SIDE OF THEM!!! This confirms your Spy Report, and points to the fact that there were Tusken Raiders at the homestead. My conjecture is that Lucas wouldn't bring in 2 actors and dress them up just for a photo taken on a whim.
