Press Release

LAST CHANCE FOR STAR WARS EXTRAVAGANZA

EXTRA TICKETS FOR THE STAR WARS SAGA DAY FOR LUCKY FEW

Fans who were left disappointed when tickets to The Star Wars Saga Day at UCI Empire, Leicester Square sold out in five minutes on Monday have been granted an 11th hour opportunity to attend the world exclusive event.

With tickets already being offered at online auction sites for over ?500 a pair, demand for the event is set to soar in the weeks leading up. Anyone who pre-books online to see Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith at any UCI cinema in the UK will be entered into a lottery to win one of twenty-five pairs of 'Galactic Passports'. Fanatics have until 11 May to pre-book and winners will be notified the following day.

The Saga Day will see all six episodes of the Star Wars saga screened back-to-back in a once in a lifetime opportunity at UCI Empire, Leicester Square on 16 May. Tickets went on sale at 9am on Monday 25 April and took just five minutes to sell out via telephone and internet bookings. Die-hard fans even began queuing on Friday 22 April to get their hands on the UCI Empire box office allocation.

UCI Empire spokesperson Katy Harris says: "From the minute this special screening was announced we've been inundated with calls and emails from people across the globe - we've had enquiries from as far afield as Australia and USA with fans planning to jet in for this once in a lifetime experience.

"We want to ensure that the final 50 available tickets only go to true Star Wars fans so only those who are guaranteeing an early seat with our Book B4 online service will get the chance to win one."

The event which is part of the Star Wars Celebration Day will kick off with a breakfast screening of A New Hope and continue throughout the day with The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones, followed by a screening of the final instalment Revenge of the Sith, three days before it goes on general release.

Only those holding a 'Galactic Passport', stamped at the commencement of each movie, will be able to complete the journey and see Star Wars: Episode III Revenge of the Sith, before its UK release on May 19th.
