I just wanted to drop everyone at TFN a line to let you know that the midnight screening of EP 3 at Regal Opry Mills Stadium 20, in Nashville, TN was a complete success. The Theater Complex was caught slightly off guard, as were many fans.
One thing that I noticed was that there were so many people in line that the complex actually had to add 4 more theaters to screen the movie. I cannot ever remember seeing so many people lined up for a midnight screening for any title, especially a Star Wars movie.
The night went off without a hitch. The Video and audio were outstanding. I truly feel like this is the movie that I have been waiting to see for 28 years.
Update!

In response to a recent appraisal of the Regal Opry Mills showing, the reels snapped in several auditoriums. In my midnight showing.
An employee entered and told us there were, "technical difficulties," and that the movie would be back on in four minutes and we would not miss anything. A few choice words were yelled by fans and ten minutes later, the movie started playing again, but it had skipped. There were some boos, but we all received re-admission tickets at the exit.
