I just wanted to add a footnote to Philley Lilley's report from the Star Wars Marathon on 16th May.
I was there, sat in the second row up from the middle aisle. So I had a fantastic view.
After George Lucas, Rick McCallum, Hayden Christensen & Ian McDiarmid made their appearances to introduce Revenge of the Sith we all returned to our seats and it started. But instead of reading the opening crawl, I noticed our four VIP guests were standing in the aisle directly in front of me, no less than 5 feet away.
I noticed they really seemed to be getting a kick out of the fans reactions to the events taking place on screen.
And it said an awful lot that they spent something like 20 minutes at the actual premier, to then come over to us and stay and watch for at least half an hour. It really made it something special.
At the end, just as the credits started coming up, I hopped out of my seat with my mate and made a beeline to the exit and as I rounded the corner a security guard said, "No mate, you'll want to be back in your seat!" and with that the four guests came bowling back in from where they had disappeared. And we had the closing comments from George Lucas.
