The Spoiler Forums are buzzing with fan reaction to the Episode III soundtrack and DVD released today. Here's one, head there for many more sure to be posted:

What can I say but wow! I have loved the soundtracks to all of the movies, even the PT. I have to admit though, that in '99 when TPM came out, I felt like the soundtracks were not in keeping with the orchestral tone that Williams had used in the OT. This DVD proved me wrong.

The videos themselves are fantastic and all include footage from the six films. The songs are presented in chronological order, starting with Episode One and moving forward through Episode six. But you all already knew that right?

Anyway, what struck me was that, just based on the soundtrack scores, I was completely moved watching scenes of young Anakin growing up, becoming Darth Vader and redeeming himself. I can't imagine the emotion this story will generate when all six movies are watched back to back.
