After reading the report about Master Replicas being in Jacksonville, I thought I might mention that they did a similar promotion here in Austin.

I was there for the midnight show at the Galaxy Highland 10, and it was quite an event because the theater just got a brand new digital projector that they debuted for this movie.

First, the owner of the Galaxy theater franchise said a few words and thanked the audience for making this possible, and then Master Replicas came out and there was a drawing for a Darth Vader Force FX lightsaber.

If that wasn't enough, the owner told us that there would be a "special guest", and sure enough, the imperial march started playing and Darth Vader (accompanied by a stormtrooper) walked to the front of the auditorium. He lit his Force FX lightsaber, and then used the "force" to open the curtains covering the movie screen. It was really fun.
