I believe a good time was had by all at the Egyptian Theater in Coos Bay.
People were lined up early in the day in chairs or what have you.
My wife and I showed up about 10:00 PM, lightsabers ready and got in line. About 10:30, the doors opened and everyone was let in. No special prices on food and no special gifts. Even the free candy with large popcorn and large soda offer was gone.
The theater was about 95-99% full ( This is a small town). There were at least 3 people in costume. Darth Vader, Jango Fett and a little Ewok were all that I saw.
One person challenged Vader to a saber-to-hand duel and you can guess the outcome. It was a short battle and everyone cheered.
Once the lights dimmed, the crowd cheered and we saw commercials and previews. Fantastic Four and Mr and Mrs Smith got the best reactions.
When the PSA for the feature presentation came on, everyone cheered and then got very quiet so everyone could enjoy the movie.
The only weird, minor thing was about 2 minutes before the end, the track lights for the exits in the floor came on and were bright. No one said anything and continued to watch the movie.
When the credits started, everyone clapped and cheered. A good time was had by all.
