The force is strong with local Star Wars fans, who attended the Rialto's 12:01 a.m.
Thursday premiere of "Star Wars: Episode III- Revenge of the Sith." It didn't take a Jedi mind trick to convince Grayling fans that their home town was the place to see the final Star Wars film.
"We decided to keep it real for the home town," said Luke Southard, a senior at Grayling High School. He was first in line, along with his friend, Mike Barry. Although, the two started their wait at 8:30 p.m., they realized that patience is key to the Jedi way.
"We had a great time (in line). We had some lightsaber fights and we all chilled," said Southard. The spirit of Star Wars made the premiere into a community event.
"There were like three little kids dressed up as Darth Vader," said Barry. Two places down the line was Rich Ryan, who agreed that the Rialto was the best place to see the film.
