A local newspaper (Sunday Telegraph) yesterday listed the current box office
takings here in Australia for ROTS:

Revenge Of The Sith has grossed more than $6 million in its opening two
days in Australia, smashing previous box office records."

"The figure equates to 400,000 tickets purchased at an average of $15 each."

"The Star Wars epic premiered at cinemas around Australia on Thursday and
grossed approximately $3.56 million, making it the biggest opening day for
any film produced by 20th Century Fox."

"On Friday, takings for teh sci-fi behemoth reached $2.5 million."

Normally box office reports don't come in until Thursday of each week, so I
don't know how they got these figures so quickly, but still, they're
fantastic numbers !
