A Happy EP3 Midnight Screening in Houston Posted By Britany on May 19, 2005
Chris writes in with a positive Episode III midnight screening experience in Houston:
What an incredible movie! This is by far as good as ESB and maybe slightly better. It is for sure darker.
It was a great experience here in Houston at the Willowbrook AMC 24. Theater 14 saw a replica of an R-6 droid that was fully functioning. He was a member of the R-2 Builders. He told stories of going to E3 and having his picture taken with George Himself.
Well the best part was 2 Darth Vaders with their $100 lightsabers getting to duel. The cameraman for the theater shut off all the lights and let the 2 Sith Peons go at it. It was a great show and was a wonderful addition to helping set the mood for the movie.
Me and my friends from church all had lightsabers and felt right at home with our sisters and brothers of all ages, races, creeds and religions gathering together to the one thing that seems to unite us. STAR WARS. It was an amazing thing to see all social types gathered together to this one single event.
