"I was watching the comic-con trailer for the new StarGate: Universe series, and the creators of StarGate have thrown in another nod to "the Wars". Two characters are in a very snowy environment and one says, "Looks like we entered the Hoth system". It's right at the 2:30 mark on this video on YouTube.

Btw, did anyone notice in Fanboys when they were in the hotel watching TV, they were watching... StarGate? :-)" (Thanks Andy!)

The USA Today wraps up Comic-Con and apparently Denzel Washington wanted to use our favorite franchise to walk the convention floor:

"I really want to get on the floor and see what the fuss is about," Washington said. "Maybe I can borrow a Star Wars mask and look around."
